CBIPL  Low & High Temperature and High Pressure Ball Valves (CHT) incorporate a “semi-soft” seat design made of metal/graphite compounds. This tried and well proven design offer several advantages over metal-to-metal seats:

  • Perfect seat tightness under working conditions
  • Long seat life
  • Continuous cleaning of the ball surface due to the wiping action of the seat material
  • Low operating torque even when compared to valves with PTFE seats
  • Suitable for use in any application where pure graphite is permitted. The metal portion of the seat can be changed to accommodate any application requirements
